Pro-Care is Nashville’s Premier Oriental and Area Rug Cleaning Specialist!
The experts highly recommend in-plant rug cleaning for proper maintenance of Area Rugs, Oriental Rugs, Persian Rugs, and other custom rugs. Unlike synthetic rugs and wall-to-wall carpet, cleaning most rugs on location (at a client’s home or business) is not advisable.
4 Reasons In-Plant Rug Cleaning is best:
- Rug fibers are very different from those found in residential and commercial broadloom carpet. There is far more natural fiber such as wool, cotton, silk and jute used in rugs than in broadloom carpet.
- Backings are very different, as natural foundation yarns are more prominent in rugs as opposed to separate synthetic backing fabrics for tufted carpet.
- Construction is different: woven constructions are most prevalent in area rugs, as opposed to tufting being the dominant construction in the broadloom market.
- Cleaning technology is different due to the potential for dye migration and fiber distortion.
Pro-Care’s Rug Plant is Staffed with the best.
Pro-Care’s rug care staff undergoes rigorous training through the IICRC and the WoolSafe Organization, making them highly qualified to handle rugs of all types. Your rugs will be thoroughly and safely cleaned in our special, “state of the art” cleaning plant, using our comprehensive 18-Step Cleaning System for maximum soil and spot removal.
Cleaning your rugs in our plant ensures special attention and treatment, resulting in a more thorough cleaning, controlled drying, and the use of advanced tools and processes not available on location. Avoiding specialized procedures in a plant may cause permanent damage to the rugs and flooring materials. Regular cleaning, especially for high-traffic rugs and carpets, is recommended.
