MAKE SURE THE Area Rug and Upholstered Pieces ARE ACCESSIBLE FOR CLEANING.

When you prepare your home for rug and upholstery cleaning, the professionals can work more efficiently and effectively. As a client, you expect the professionals to complete your cleaning  service in a timely way. To help Pro-Care providers move efficiently and make the most of your appointment, please prepare your the area for our upholstery or rug cleaning appointment.

Begin by clearing away loose personal belongings. Removing clothing, toys, electronics, etc will insure our service is efficient.  Please secure all breakables and remove small furnishings – dining room chairs, ottomans, floor lamps, plants or accent tables – off your rugs and away from any upholstery to be serviced.

Remember Pro-Care techs cannot move computer equipment, china cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique or fragile furniture. However, where sufficient room is available, we can clean underneath such items, in the case of rug-cleaning or we can edge closely around the base of the largest pieces.

Some rugs may benefit from special cleaning in Pro-Care’s Rug Plant – we can explain more about that option when you call to schedule an appointment.

COMMUNICATE YOUR CONCERNS ABOUT THE Furniture or Area Rugs TO BE CLEANED.

Your home and family will be cleaner and healthier with professional rug and upholstery cleaning. Please plan to be on site at the beginning of your cleaning appointment. That way, you can examine your furnishings with the technicians before work begins. The pre-inspection will give you the chance to call attention to areas which may require special cleaning.

It is particularly helpful too when clients point out pre-existing spots, stains, soiling or defects on items to be cleaneds.  Defects may include rips, tears, holes, fiber damage, wear, and stitching issues, or other structural concerns.

When a homeowner identifies pre-existing problems that the cleaning process cannot fix, professionals can take extra care and can explain what our cleaning CAN accomplish

PLAN AHEAD FOR OUR POST-SERVICE POINTERS

Lastly, make sure to set aside time for your rugs or furniture to dry fully before resuming use of the room. When possible we will set up air movers to improve drying time. And always use extreme caution when walking from damp rugs onto any hard surface flooring. Now, just enjoy your newly cleaned furnishings!
